The journey is a long one, but the bus is comfortable. This shrine, visited every year by thousands of people from all over the world, is one of the most important sites of Catholic faith: it was here that the Virgin Mary appeared to the three shepherd children, Francisco, Jacinta and Lúcia. Visit the house where the children were born and the four sites where the apparitions occurred, the Lausperene Chapel, the Chapel of Apparitions and the monument to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
After a break for lunch, you can visit the tombs of the three shepherd children and, if you like, you can also attend mass in the impressive Chapel of Apparitions.
